From child labour to young apprentices, this talk explores child employment in the mills & works along the Wandle, as well as the practice of fathers working alongside their children .We will also learn how legalisation helped improve the conditions that children, women and men worked in & those young people who had their skills recognised. Presented by the Wandle Industrial Museum.
