How to pay charges

You can pay charges in person at any Croydon library. We are only able to accept card payments.

 

Overdue charges

 

•    Adults - Books and CDs: 25p per item per day
•    Children - Books and CDs: Free. Children’s items borrowed by adults will incur fines.
•    Large Print: 25p per item per day. Free for the visually impaired.

 

Hire charges

 

•    Spoken Word audio books on CD: £2.20 
      Spoken word items are free for children or if you are registered disabled
•    Language courses: £1.50

 

Reservation charges

•    Books, spoken word and language courses (in stock): Free
•    Items which are not in stock within The Libraries Consortium: Suggestions can be made by emailing libraries@croydon.gov.uk 
•    Music score sets (registered groups only): £30.00 for up to 50 copies; £40.00 for over 50 copies

 

 

Photocopying and printing charges

 

•    Black and white A4: 20p per side
•    Black and white A3: 30p per side
•    Colour A4: 55p per side
•    Colour A3: 80p per side

 

Replacement charges

 

•    Lost or damaged items: Full cost of replacement
•    Replacement library card: Adults £2.15; Children: Free
