Join the Ready Road to help your child get ready for school!

 

This is an early years programme aimed at supporting parents and carers with their children aged 3 to 5 years old, who are starting school.  Research has shown that children who were born or lived their first five years between 2019 and 2023 were particularly impacted by covid-19.  This programme has been devised and developed with Family Hubs and early years professionals.

 

All participants will receive a free Ready Road activity pack.  The pack has been designed to help your child develop the skills they need to be ready for school.  It features a map with local place names and four fun characters.  Your child chooses a character and follows them on their journey to school, while learning healthy habits in a positive engaging way.
